Senior Auditor - Automotive & Industrial

Searchcom Technologies is looking for a senior auditor to help the audit assignments of automotive and industrial companies. This is a great role for someone with a few years of auditing experience who is comfortable reviewing financial records, assessing internal controls, and working with teams across locations.

This is a fully remote role but there is regular interaction with finance, compliance and operational teams to ensure audit work is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in the following:

Accounting Management Finance Business
Or a related field

Professional qualifications like CPA, CA, CIA, ACCA would be an added advantage.

Experience 

Candidates should have 5-8 years of audit experience.

Automotive, manufacturing, or industrial industry experience preferred. 
Experience in leading audit engagements, preparing audit reports, and reviewing financial controls would be beneficial for this position.

We are looking for people with experience in multinational companies or large industrial businesses.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Senior Auditor, your work will extend beyond just checking numbers. You will be required to understand how a business operates, identify the risks and be able to recommend practical improvements that will help strengthen financial controls.

Your responsibilities might include:

• Plan and execute audit assignments from beginning to end.
• Review financial statements, accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Review business processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify control gaps, operational risks and areas for procedural improvement.
• Prepare clear audit reports with observation and suggestion.
• Discuss findings with management, and explain suggested corrective actions.
• Follow up on previous audit observations to determine whether improvements have been made.
• Assist in the preparation of business risk related audit plans.
• Lead audit activities of junior auditors and review their work as needed.
• Partner with finance, compliance, and operations teams on all assignments.
• Maintain audit documentation complete and organized for future reference.
• Keep an eye on changes in auditing standards, financial reporting rules and industry regulations.

Working Hours

This is a full-time, remote position.

Working hours are flexible, but you may be required to be available to coordinate with global teams. Will coordinate virtual meetings as needed and may be required to travel to specific audit engagements.
